Employability Skills System (ESS)

 

The Employability Skills System (ESS) was developed during 2004 by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA). The Employability Skills have been identified on the basis that workers can transfer and apply these skills across industries and jobs. The 10 employability skills are :
  1. Workplace Literacy & Numeracy
  2. Information Communications Technologies
  3. Problem Solving and Decision Making
  4. Initiative and Enterprise
  5. Communication and Relationship Management
  6. Lifelong Learning
  7. Global Mindset
  8. Self-Management
  9. Workplace-Related Life Skills
  10. Health & Workplace Safety
